Honor of Kings leads Sensor Tower’s September mobile revenue ranking

Roblox, Gossip Harbor, Candy Crush Saga and Monopoly Go complete the top five. The chart was published in Sensor Tower’s October market update.

The analysis links leading games’ performance to seasonal content and live events, but those observations do not isolate the causal effect of an individual update. App-store spending estimates are also not a complete measure of a publisher’s business: advertising, web-shop receipts and distribution outside the tracked stores need separate treatment. The ranking is a competitive snapshot for September, rather than a forecast of October results.
