Black Tabby Publishing fully funds the next game from the creators of 1000xResist

Black Tabby Games has become a publisher, using revenue from Slay the Princess and Scarlet Hollow to fully fund Sunset Visitor's Prove You're Human.

Black Tabby Games has launched Black Tabby Publishing and selected Prove You're Human from Sunset Visitor, the studio behind 1000xResist, as its first project. The label will fully fund development and provide release-management support.

Black Tabby says revenue from its own successful games left it able to fund both its internal pipeline and another team's work. The deal began from a paper pitch after the publisher concluded that the project did not fit comfortably within the conventional pitch environment. This developer-to-developer model is small in scale but can support unusual projects that larger portfolio-driven publishers may struggle to evaluate.
