Balor Games launches with publishing rights to more than 60 indie titles

Good Games Group acquired Ziff Davis' former publishing business and other catalogues to create Balor Games, which now manages titles including Slay the Spire, SIGNALIS and Coral Island.

Good Games Group has launched Balor Games after acquiring Ziff Davis' publishing business, the complete Firestoke Games catalogue and publishing rights to Fights in Tight Spaces. The new label now oversees more than 60 independent titles, including Slay the Spire, A Hat in Time, SIGNALIS, Forager, Coral Island and Monaco.

Balor is positioning itself around long-term catalogue stewardship, renewed lifecycle support and coordinated commercial strategy across platforms and regions. It also says it is accepting pitches for selected new projects. For studios, the label's significance lies in combining a proven back catalogue with an active pipeline rather than launching as an empty brand.
