Supercell signs deal to acquire Metacore and Merge Mansion

Supercell has signed its planned acquisition of Metacore, bringing Merge Mansion and its team into Supercell's live-games portfolio. The price will not be disclosed.

Supercell has signed the agreement to acquire Metacore and its flagship title Merge Mansion, with closing expected at the end of September. The companies will not disclose the transaction value. Once completed, Metacore employees will join Supercell and Merge Mansion will become part of its live-games portfolio.

The buyer is pairing its global live-operations experience with a game that helped popularise the merge genre and already has a durable player base. For Metacore, the deal provides long-term operational support; for Supercell, it adds an established live title rather than relying entirely on internal launches.
